Full membership to the Club is open to anybody who can swim. There are three classes of membership.  

• Youth Membership: open to individuals under the age of 18.  

• Adult Member: open to those individuals over 18 years and older.

• Family Membership: to one or more individuals from the same family.

The membership year runs from the end of August and through to the following August. If you join after the new year you will be given membership for the following year. Membership Fees are set at the Annual General Meeting. For the current membership fees click here.

What is the membership fee used for?

The membership fees cover affiliation to the BCU (British Canoe Union) and contribute to the running of the club and the purchase and maintenance of club equipment. The annual subscription to the Club covers basically the running costs of the Club which are :

• British Canoe Union membership which includes Third Party Insurance.

• Club insurance

• Trailer maintenance
